Mr. O'Dea heads up Butterfield Bank’s Cayman operations, which offer banking, credit, treasury, trust, investment management and fund administration services. He joined Butterfield Bank in 1989 as Financial Controller, after working for KPMG in Cayman for over three years. He assumed the position of Managing Director in 1997. Mr. O'Dea moved to Cayman from Ireland in 1985. He is a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and University College Dublin. Mr. O’Dea was president of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce 2002/2003 and is a member of the Cayman Islands Government Advisory Council.
