Mr. Dickinson’s responsibilities at Butterfield Bank include the overall management of the Bank’s Bermuda-based Wealth Management Division, including Butterfield Asset Management, Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited and  Private Banking.  Before joining the Bank, Mr. Dickinson gained over 14 years experience in the financial services industry in the U.S. and the U.K. – most recently as a member of the Leveraged Finance Group at Wachovia Securities where he was responsible for the origination and execution of leveraged finance transactions for corporate and private equity clients. Prior to joining Wachovia, Mr. Dickinson was a Director in the Media and Communications Investment Banking Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation (and its successor Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation) in New York and London, where he led execution teams for financing transactions and had responsibility for ongoing client coverage.  Before joining DLJ, Mr. Dickinson completed the financial management training programme at Axa Financial Inc.  Mr. Dickinson received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and his BA in Finance from Morehouse College.
