Mr. Coulman is responsible for the overall management of Butterfield Asset Management as well as investment management strategy, asset allocation and performance. Previously with American International Group, he worked in Tokyo, London and Boston. Immediately before joining the Bank he was in Tokyo as the Chief Investment Officer for a joint venture between AIG and Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corp. He has also worked at the private Swiss bank, Lombard Odier, in London and was responsible for the management of a wide range of fixed income products including insurance company assets and mutual funds. He received a BA (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Central England in 1985.
