Ms. Brown has responsibility for the divisions who provide custodial, account administration and other services to the Bank’s investment clients.
Ms. Brown joined Butterfield Trust in 1999 as Vice President, Client Administration, leading a team of eight account managers. In 2000, she assumed responsibility for Global Custody in addition to Client Administration. Ms. Brown was promoted to Managing Director in July 2002, with responsibility for 85 staff in Trust Services, Investment Services and Global Custody. She was promoted to her present role in November 2004. Prior to joining Butterfield Trust, Ms. Brown was employed by Bermuda Commercial Bank for five years as General Manager, Global Custody. She spent 14 years at Fidelity Investments, serving as Manager, Portfolio Administration and Manager, Global Trading desk. Ms. Brown has served as director of several business and government boards.
